The poor girl can’t sing to save her life and without Auto Tune she’d not
be able to hit any of the notes.

…and the song sounds like crap unless it’s sung by a baritone. For a
great version, check out The King or George Beverly Shea.

I was surprised to see this comment about Carrie Underwood’s performance:

“The poor girl can’t sing to save her life and without Auto Tune she’d not
be able to hit any of the notes.
…and the song sounds like crap unless it’s sung by a baritone. For a
great version, check out The King or George Beverly Shea.”

I listened to the song and got chills (especially near the end). So this
got me thinking. Is it possible that the song really sounds bad to this
person? It should be easy to tell whether a person is a good or bad singer,
right? Could it be that the commenter has a handicap or maybe he has an
ulterior motive? I don’t think I want to know.

I am praying for the day Carrie will release a Gospel CD..it will be such a
blessing for us all. Maybe after the Sound of Music it will happen. This
rendition is so very moving..it goes straight to the heart. Bless you both
Carrie and Vince for letting us share this.

This is one of the most anointed videos. Every time I hear it I literally
get goose bumps. I can’t imagine what it must have been like to be in that
room that night. This is more than talent, There were three on stage that
night. Gill, Carrie, and the Holy Spirit.

Absolutely the best arrangement of this I’ve heard. Moves me to tears every
time I watch it. This was my mom’s favorite. She passed away in 2008, and
this hymn was part of her service. None of us could sing it. RIP mom!

Our organization is from Pakistan working to bring our Christian ability to
    the world.
Even they don’t have enough sources to do that but we have take the Candle
    to enlighten them.

The hypocrisy screams to heaven. That worthless adulterer is singing a
Christian song. I am really surprised that he did not burst out in flames.
God is so merciful. Why would Carrie lower herself to work with that
    loathsome piece of shit?

+DET313 I guess wearing a dress with a high neck line just above the knee
like my wife and 90% of the rest of the women on the planet wears to work
isn’t good enough for you? Guess she’ll have to wear a Muslim burka next
    time. Idiot!

Anyone who listens to this song and thinks it’s anything less than amazing
is either tone deaf or trying to stir up trouble. This is absolutely
amazing. A whole area of people don’t stand up and cheer for a bad
performance. Trying to say Carrie wasn’t amazing is like trying to argue
the sky isn’t blue. No point. Carrie was breath taking!

Amazing, I love it. When you know that anything is possible with God,
nothing is impossible with God, God can make a way when there seems there
is no way. know, he has done it for me, more than once.

Try to meditate at 1:36 to 2:59. It will really ease miraculously whatever
trouble you are into. Gods really works even in this music.

This is beautiful and amazing! I just, whenever I hear anyone talking
about how Eminem and Britney spears fans say,”Oh they inspire us!” (no
offense to fans of them) but this is my opinion and Carrie is my role
model! Keep the goodness going, Carrie!
